The name comes from the inside of the fixture: just like Robin Hood's hat. The innovation of Chapeau (Good Design Award 2012) is in its tilting system. The lamp, completely folded in its shell, is a downlighter of which you can see just the edge of the light house peeping out of its shell. By tilting the light house, you get a beautiful wallwash effect.
